Dr. Ryan T. Beverly graduated from UC Berkeley in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology focused in Mammalian Physiology. He spent the next 3 years working in the Austin, TX area as a veterinary technician, where he found his passion for emergency medicine and inspiration to become a veterinarian.
At Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, he served as Class Representative and Student Body President for both the Student Government Association and the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
As President, he lead a team of 10 Executive Officers and 15 Class Representatives, represented a student body of 1400 and the SAVMA by overseeing all Chapter meetings and matters, acted as liaison to the Dean’s Office, as the student voice on the Curriculum Committee, and as the Chapter’s ambassador at national meetings, and facilitated discussion and conflict resolution between students, student organizations, and administration.
During his studies, he additionally maintained active memberships with the Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, Josh Project, and the Veterinary Business Medical Association.
The latter of these organizations recognized his time invested in studying the business side of veterinary medicine by honoring him with the VBMA Silver Certificate. In September 2015, Dr. Beverly completed his year of clinical training at the University of Florida in Gainesville, graduated from Ross University with Honors, and proudly joined the Critical Vet Care team as an Emergency Veterinarian.
